Easter is Coming

I love bunnies, really I do, but at Easter time, please Make Mine Chocolate!

Too many real bunnies are bought for children who have no concept of how much responsibility they are. So many of these bunnies end up in shelters, abandoned or dead. Not exactly a great ending for adorable balls of fluff.

Spread the word. Chocolate bunnies or stuffed animal bunnies at Easter save real bunny lives! Responsible pet ownership is the best!

"So many of these bunnies end up in shelters, abandoned or dead."

Or they end up as 20 bunnies. Seriously, people need to stop take the "stuffed animal" concept with real animals.

I'd say something on the same topic about dolls and human babies, but I'll leave that for another time.

*agrees!*

Good link, thanks for posting!
I'll post it in my journal too.

Or, the Williams-Sonoma bunny pan. A bake pan that has two halves of a bunny that you fill with batter and such, and bake. Pop it out of the non-stock pan, put the two halves together, and you have a sponge-cake bunny for frosting!

And do not forget to send Peeps abroad!

People forge5t, every year!

Packaged rabbit meat is easier to cook, too. Live rabbits won't stay in the pot.

I can't even imagine some parent thinking it's okay to give their kid a live animal without the concept of it being a pet. I mean, if they don't already have a pet, there must be a reason for it, right? Live animals make messes and destroy things and sometimes smell bad! Are there really people who do such things?

Having eaten actual rabbits, I prefer the chocolate ones too. Less bones.
