I dunno. I am post 40 and things just keep getting better. There is nothing anyone can do to stop age from happening, but you can choose to be the sedate older folk or the eccentric one. I choose eccentric.

Awesome! I am going to choose eccentric too. Mostly because the thought of being forced into khakis and "sensible shoes" gives me hives. :D

And I had no idea you were post-40! XD

Don't worry about "dressing your age". You're not trying to dress "too young", but thanks to the music and clothing industries the youth are trying to dress the way you and I did and still do.

But then we grew out of the "I'm a (fill in the blank), so I only wear (fill in the blank)" phase years ago.
