Ancient New World writing discovered! Apparently, from the Olmecs in Mexico, from about 900 BC. It's so cool!
And of course, everyone all over the internet is excited about the Nintendo Wii. I'm excited, but I can't afford one at launch, so I'll probably wait quite some time and save my pennies. But $250 is much more reasonable for a new game system than the $400-600 for the 360 or the PS3. Those are just completely out of my price range, period. Besides, I still have a bunch of PS2 and GameCube games I haven't beaten yet or even bought. Plus I have my DS and WoW, so it's not like I am hurting for games to play. Heck, I have Sega Saturn and PS1 games I haven't managed to finish yet! What with all my work, I don't have the time I used to devote to video games anyway- they eat up a lot of free time. I am excited about the new technology the Wii represents, I think the controller is really cool, and hey, who isn't excited about a new Zelda game?
Today I have errands, mail order and three books to work on for Monday turn-in. It will be busy this weekend. I still have to work on the Radio Waves (the inside front cover editorial page) and get the rest of Foxxxies #1 together, plus copyedit the other two books. And I still have to post auctions and update the online store. So, time to get started on all of that!
