doronjosama: (tired)
Sad news today, as Christopher Reeve has passed away at the age of 52. He *was* Superman to me when I was a child, and I've never really accepted that kid from Smallville as any kind of Superman substitute. I am sad that nothing could be done to save Reeve or make him walk again, though he never gave up his hope.

In other things, worked this whole weekend on things that needed to get done. I am trying another tactic on my ebay auctions- selling comics as lots of 6-10 book groupings. Maybe people will buy them that way. If not, I'm going to eventually just take them down to Half Price Books, because I am sick to death of the sight of them by this point. I did manage to finally see all of American Splendor on cable, and I saw most of Harold and Maude, which I'd never seen before.

Today, I have to turn in books to Brenner to start the ball rolling on our late stuff. Then, I have to figure out the stock list for Yaoi-Con. Plus all the usual Monday stuff. Looks to be a busy day.

Missed a day for my food log. Saturday I ate: baked potatoes with cheddar-jack cheese and a glass of milk, spaghetti with sausage that PD made. Yesterday I ate: English toasting bread with peanut butter and a mug of cocoa, Maruchan pork flavor ramen, and a Hungry Man microwave meal (shared with PD) of chicken and cheesy potatoes with a glass of milk.
