Clan of the Nakagamis by Homerun Ken

This was one of my favorites to work on, because it is hilarious. It's wacky comedy with great art, and gay romance. How cute is that? This manga has rewrite by me, and lettering and touchup by willworks and PD. Here is the description I wrote for the back cover:

Haruka Iijima and Tokio Nakagami are student and teacher... and star-crossed lovers! If their forbidden relationship weren't enough trouble, they also have to deal with the rest of Tokio's family, the strange and insane Nakagami Clan! Not only are the Nakagamis all devastatingly gorgeous and apparently ageless, they're all completely obsessed with Tokio- and that means nothing but trouble! Can Haruka and Tokio keep their love alive in the face of such utter weirdness? And will they ever be able to have their first kiss? Romance and comedy collide as Haruka and Tokio try desperately to avoid the Nakagami Clan!



Cold Sleep by Narise Konohara

This is the yaoi novel that was translated by Doug Dlin and Iori, which I did the rewrite on in about a week, if you count by hours worked. It was a pretty hard slog, to tell the truth, equally hard for translators and rewriter alike! But we made the deadline. Here is the back cover text I wrote up:

After losing his memory in a serious car accident, Tohru Takahisa is taken in by Fujishima, an older man who claims to be his friend. But the taciturn Fujishima refuses to reveal anything about Tohru's past! Despite the gulf between them, a strange and awkward tenderness grows between the two men, even as they are held apart by the tragic events of Tohru's forgotten past! Dramatic, heart-wrenching romance and tragedy combine in a gripping story where the past and present are intricately entwined. This volume also contains the short story "Class Reunion" and an all-new sequel!
