Been busy this week with paperwork, mail-packing (we still have a lot to get caught up on due to the convention) and preparing the solicitations. I have to get those written up and emailed out by the end of today, and then dig around in our archived books to find some stuff for some folks to use for references. Then, the usual daily stuff like auctions, order processing, answering email and the like. Since it's Wednesday, I also have to update the specials on the Radio store. Fortunately, the store has stayed up, fingers crossed that it continues to do so.

In other news, the final three books I worked on for DMP/June have been released. Dear Myself, Hybrid Child and the novel, Cold Sleep. I didn't get credited on the novel, since their company policy is only to credit the translators on the novels. It is a little odd, since the last manga we worked on (Clan of the Nakagamis, for those keeping track) was released first, and the one we worked on first (Hybrid Child) was released last. That was confusing. Anyway, you can buy all four books from Amazon.com (linked in this post) or direct from the publisher at their online catalog. Hopefully, if these books perform well for them, they will give us some more freelance work. I can only hope anyway!

Now off to get started on the day.

Yeah, there ya go. I wanted to get it made before anyone else decided to take the name or something. I'll probably actually check this one, since I never check my personal MySpace page and have trouble remembering the password. -_-;

I am sometimes really bad at this whole online thing. ^_^;

EDIT: Okaaaaay, it keeps giving me the message "Invalid Friend ID.
This user has either cancelled their membership, or their account has been deleted." Even though it still shows that I am logged in. Emails to customer support go unanswered. If they were going to delete the account, they really ought to email and tell you why. Yet, about 5-10% of the time, I can access it, and it still shows up on my friends' pages. But not on my MySpace page. It's really retarded.

I don't see why they would delete it, considering I get constant spam on my other account from companies and corporate entities, and friend requests from bands, DJ groups, art collectives, wanna-be cam-girls advertising their businesses and writing groups (which is why I stopped looking at it). Not to mention the MySpace pages for huge Hollywood movies. But a tiny comic company can't have one? What the hell? I think their shit is retarded. (Oh yeah, and I am subscribed to several local businesses' MySpace pages- tell me they aren't trying to make money....)
