Weekend Work...
Sep. 25th, 2006 10:17 amSpent a low key weekend doing paperwork, catching up on email (still more to do, there's always more to do), and dealing with auction stuff. It's the end of the third quarter coming up, and so I have lots of things to organize and get together and I have to go visit the sales tax office once again to pay them off.
A cold front has moved in to San Antonio, and it finally feels like fall. I am not complaining, because that means we can go do much-needed inventory work in the storage units without falling over dead from heat exhaustion. We also have a ton of boxes in there to get rid of, but first, we need to move them all around so we can get an accurate count on them, in case some of the artists in them want some before we chunk them or ship them to cons for pre-reg bag freebies.
In other things,
dustmeat, JAR,
suarez and
ichbinkeinenazi all came by last night to watch another episode of Rome and this week's episode of Flavor of Love. To my dismay, Bootz was voted off the show, apparently because she refused to sleep with Flav (or anyone, really) until she was married. However, my favorite girl, Delishis is still in the running. I am already sick of New York's return to the series. The woman seriously looks like a Muppet on crack. This last episode of Rome was excellent as well, as lots of excitement happened this time. I think Titus Pullo is my favorite character, closely followed by the Queen of the Harpies, Attia. We finished up the night with an episode of Metalocalypse, which just keeps getting funnier, and
willworks and I watched an episode of Angel after everyone else had gone home. Yesterday I also took some time to do some cleanup on my World of Warcraft characters, and now Mitsuba has gone to the big pixel dump in the sky. (Had to delete her to make room on my main server...) The rest of my characters all have had their inventories cleaned up and sorted, so they are ready to play next time I get a chance to do so. Oh, and my warlock main can finally summon her Infernal, which is kind of cool. Hopefully, I will have at least one level 60 by the time the Burning Crusade expansion comes out. And hopefully, I will be able to do enough auctions to save up for it!
I also did a bunch of housework things, like running the vacuum, cleaning the kitchen floor and washing a seemingly endless parade of dirty glasses. Whee. Today I get to change the catboxes! Lucky me!
Anyway, that was my totally exciting weekend. I can tell you're all thrilled to pieces.
