Yes, it's almost time to go to another convention, thus it's time for me to make a to-do list. We will be at Anthrocon in Pittsburgh the weekend of June 26-29!

Here is everything I need to get done before we leave for the con (in the cut):

IMPORTANT!
If you are an artist who has done work for us and you will be at Anthrocon, LET ME KNOW NOW! I am going to the storage unit tomorrow to pull trib copy comics, since I MUST pack them up for transport on Sunday. (Friday I work at the day job, Saturday I will be doing errands and laundry, and we leave on Tuesday.) If you tell me on Monday that you are attending the con, it will be TOO LATE for me to excavate things from the storage units.

Re: Hit the Beach #14: we have a few pages open, so if you were planning to do a swimsuit illo for it, better get it in NOW. (Or give it to us at the con.) We'll have to start putting it together as soon as we get home from the con. Please email the illo (plus your pen name, real name, and actual physical snailmail address, otherwise we can't send you trib copies) to [livejournal.com profile] willworks at willworks (at) gmail (dot) com. This issue features a brand new cover by TRUMP, so it's shaping up very nicely!

Page dimension information is located here. Standard HTB guidelines apply: it has to feature anthropomorphic characters (or anime-style cat-girl type characters), swimsuits must be involved somehow, no more than a PG-13 rating, try to avoid horizontally-oriented illos (they confuse the printers), black & white art only. (You could send color, but we'd just grayscale it.)

In other unrelated things, I really wish the rent situation was not eating every spare penny I have, because I would love to buy these brilliant "Teach the Controversy" t-shirts from Wearscience.com. They're hilarious! I especially like the elements one, the Discworld one, the psychic cards one and the dung beetle rolling the sun. They have excellent Science! t-shirts as well (which I mention since my Pop might like them).

Now, off to do massive amounts of stuff. We are driving to the con, so I am losing two days on either side of it. Argh! (That also means four days I can't work the dayjob and get paid there! Double argh!)
