yes, stockinette curls - toward the purl side on the sides, and toward the knit side at the top and bottom. hence all those stockinette sweaters with ribbing on the bottom.
do you still have the teletubbie hat i made you? i believe that had a rolled bottom, due to its being worked in stockinette.
