yesterday afternoon & evening we had freezing rain (on cars, trees, and other surfaces -- the ground/pavement was still too warm to ice over -- so had to scrape all windows of about 1/8" of ice before i could come home from work at 5. bah.
then it warmed up slightly overnight, so we enjoyed the sound of ice falling off the trees onto the roof all night. at least it wasn't branches falling & taking out powerlines.
