Who doesn't like Mad Monster Party?

In other news, this story of Christians praying to the golden bull on Wall Street has me rolling my eyes. Do people not actually *read* the Bible?! Wasn't there a big, important story about NOT worshipping graven idols, and more specifically, idols in the shape of cows covered in bling? Didn't Jesus have some big world event where he threw the money-changers out of the temples? I mean, yes, it has been nigh on 22 years since my Lutheran church confirmation classes and confirmation, and I haven't really been big on Bible study since then, but I seem to recall those parts being Very Important.

In extra news, if I lived in California, I would be voting no on Prop 8. jdeguzman brought up a very important point- namely that it used to be illegal for a white person to marry a non-white person as recently as the 1940's in some states. (Some held out till the 1950's.) We're all human beings and who cares who we marry? I'm married now (to a non-white man, in fact, which would have been illegal a mere 60-odd years ago), and I think everyone should be able to get married if they want to. I don't think my heterosexual marriage is at all threatened by gay marriage.

Now to come up with something fun to wear to work at the comic store! EDIT: the decision was made: Adam Ant. XD (So, basically an 80's New Romantic pirate, with the Prince Charming makeup. Everyone thinks I am a pirate. Whatevs!)
