- 11:09:14: Possibly TMI, but once again, I have failed to conceive. Go, go barren husk-like uterus. :( Should use it as a coin purse a la Margaret Cho.
- 11:12:17: @asmadasbirds At this point I'm starting to look into the "eccentric aunt" lifestyle, with too many cats and weird hats.
- 11:17:20: @asmadasbirds I would spoil your baby to the point where you guys would dread getting him back from me, seriously. :D He's the cutie-est!

- 12:19:45: Time to go work at the DayJob, where we may or may not be getting new shelves today. Nooooo, my organization.....!

Date: 2011-04-16 02:06 am (UTC)Our biggest issue is that work schedules don't exactly match up, so a lot of the time, we're passing like ships in the night. Stress about finances and work doesn't help either. :P

Date: 2011-04-16 05:13 am (UTC)We haven't had health care since my husband lost his bank job a year and a half ago. He finally has a job that could conceivably give benefits, if he can do well enough to not be part-time. Until then, Planned Parenthood is all I've got. :P
(But yes, when I can scrape some money together, I get to go over to PP and see what they can tell me. I am 40 though, so I don't expect it will be easy.)

Date: 2011-04-16 03:45 pm (UTC)Being 40 doesn't mean it's impossible to get pregnant, it just means its harder. My grandmother had 2 kids past 40 years old! Hopefully you're taking prenatal vitamins, even now, because that will help your body get what it needs to prepare for a possible pregnancy. I highly recommend the chewable, fruity versions you can find at Target, because the pill variety makes me ill.
Hang in there, and I'll help any way I can, even if its just being an ear you can bitch to.

Date: 2011-04-16 10:06 pm (UTC)There's also the local low-income hospital, which we might qualify for, just have to check it out. (Since I own Radio, it makes me a weird case for things like that...)
My grandma had a kid after she was 40 too, and my aunt turned out perfectly okay. I've been taking the prenatal vitamins already- I think they might be part of the reason my cycle has gotten so clock-work like regular, honestly!
