The matching t-shirts is probably the new weeaboo thing here. Not sure how much it's done in Japan (had seen a few references of it years ago), but in Korea it's not unusual to see couples wearing matching t-shirts, sneakers, jackets, or complete sports wear outfits.

The only time I come close to this is with lesbians, then everyone thinks we're married. XD
