Brought to my attention by the fabulous
anw:
Virginia to deny ANY rights to same-sex couples: http://www.planetout.com/news/article.html?date=2004/04/22/2
Also,
willworks makes good points about comics in his journal again.
And my favorite loudmouth brassy comedian dame, Margaret Cho (who reads comic books, and who was reading Watchmen when I met her when I was a tinier, younger thing) has found a list online of the people killed in this ridiculous war. It's scary to see how many of the dead were teenagers, only 18 or 19 years old. I was stunned to see some from San Antonio, my hometown of 19 years now. (Not the hometown I would have picked, but it's home now just the same.) Go check it out at her blog, and while you're there, read some of her other writing, because she's got a gift for it.
Today, I'm going to be packing mail. Whee.
