Still tired for no discernable reason, other than my insomnia has returned again. It has not been helped by the idiot neighbors, one of whom decided the best way to summon someone to their car at 5:30 am would be to honk their horn once every 15-20 minutes. Right outside our bedroom window. Yeah, that was fun.
Yesterday was a day filled with email answering, order processing, mail sorting and paperwork. The excitement is palpable! After working on that kind of stuff for hours and hours and hours, I took a break to watch some more Buffy Season 2, and ended up getting creeped out by the end of the batch of episodes. I should remember not to watch Buffy too late at night. I also got several hundred more Magic cards sorted up into lots for my auctions. In the process, I made my back sore by sitting cross-legged on the floor for about four hours straight. Durrrrr.
Today, I have to work at VGSX, and beforehand, I have more exciting paperwork and such to work on. It's the new year, so I have to get all our financial stuff and tax stuff prepared for the accountant, which is always a monumental task. We also have to start getting stuff ready for Further Confusion, turn in two more comics, work on Manga #3, and pay more start of the month bills and taxes. And the mail order never ends. We've had a lot of packages with clearly written addresses that have "worked" previously (we have a lot of repeat customers) come back marked "undeliverable as addressed", which is just fucking weird. I am guessing it has something to do with seasonal temps at the post office, because it didn't start happening until the end of November, start of December. I double check the addresses, and they are identical to the addresses we have on file for these subscribers/customers- addresses that the post office has delivered to many times in the past. I do not get it at all.
I also have to do some housework, because the dishes are piling up to alarming levels. Oh boy, I just can't wait. You know me, so domestically inclined....
And now a quiz result:
