Yes, indeed, a parody of the Daicon 4 animation, with A-Kon cosplay. I see so many old friends in this video, it gives me a strong sense of natsukashii every time I watch it over again. ^_^ Credits at the end, naturally.

It's fun to watch it back to back with the Daicon 4 animation! Kyle really nailed it, I think.

I couldn't tell, but then I was working the whole time in the Cosplay room. After we set up the tables, I didn't even see the dealer's room until Sunday.

The costuming certainly seems to have gotten better and more varied.
All the steampunk they had this year was especially nice.

Tiny glimpse of me at 3:50 on the far left edge of the screen in my Ryouga costume at A-kon 8. Makes me a feel a tiny happiness. :) This also reminds me I should translate all my old A-kon cosplay VHS's into DVD's.

Wow, I must say the costumes looked pretty good this year! Did the Naruto headband thing die out finally, or were they mercfily edited out? Oh yeah, I hope you feel better! ^_^

Only a couple. Two as Lum (one behind overlays, one behind the guy being Ataru) and one in white kimono with short blue hair. (Yukime from Hell Teacher Nube. No one even knows that show anymore...) I was really skinny back then.

Husband is at the beginning doing a wrestling move and then dancing with a giant onion.

There are so many more moments that would have been great to put in, but the song was only 4 minutes long. Heh...
