Working on books today- LIBERTY FROM HELL #3 and FURRLOUGH #133. They will go in by five pm. Yay, go go Radio! (
willworks is doing production on FURRLOUGH, DP did production on LFH, it's not like I do these books all by myself. No, I have competent help! ^_^)
Since I was doing the FURRLOUGH letters page, the Top 100 FURRLOUGH stories list got updated on the Forum: http://patduke.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1873#1873 I post it here for the benefit of the Radio FURRLOUGH creators who might be on my LJ list but not yet on the Forum. ^_^
The NO WAY OUT pay-per-view last night was pretty good. Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero had an awesome match, very acrobatic and tense. Chavo won by cheating- not that it's not all planned out to begin with, but Rey Mysterio really sells you on the whole spectacle. He makes it seem really real. Eddie Guerrero won his championship match against Brock Lesnar, who looks like he has a giant baby head. I hate Lesnar anyway, but it was cool to see Eddie Guerrero win. ^_^ Again, they did a really good job making the fight look really convincing, which I chalk up more to Eddie than Lesnar. Lesnar always looks like he's going over the fight choreography in his head- "okay, then I toss him into the ropes, then I kick him, then I have to remember to duck when he tries to punch me... and oh yeah, be careful not to accidentally break his neck...." The man has an unfortunately dumb-looking face. The Big Show had a decent match as well, but I just really dislike John Cena's Vanilla Ice angle. Despite that, it's impressive when tiny little Cena picks up the 500-pound Big Show over his head. That's gotta be dangerous on a "you could blow your knee out" level at least. ^_^; Also, I swear they are trying to sell that "World's Greatest Tag Team" duo (I forget their names) to the gay wrestling fans. They wear the shiniest leotards ever, so all you can possibly notice when they are on the screen is their crotch bulges and butts! @_@ I don't want to see that! Wear a cup or something, guys, or stop wearing satin-finish leotards! It was a fun wrestling show all the same, much better than it's been in a while.
Back to work for me. I've got to get this stuff finished up.
