doronjosamaToday I get to meet the accountant to give him all the tax stuff. Then I cross my fingers and pray for three days. We have to meet the accountant at his home this time, as he apparently broke his hip. (He's a bit old...) I am chewing my fingers like mad worrying about this tax stuff and not getting much sleep.
I need to get a haircut really really bad. I'm sorry, as cute as it is, I am sick and tired of the Louise Brooks bob hairstyle on me. It's been more than a year with the same basic haircut and that's way too long in the Elinverse. I crave shorter hair. Much shorter hair. But I can't figure out what I ought to do with it. (I know, my problems are the worst of all. Whine whine. No seriously, I'm obviously fixating on hair so I don't wig out and burn the house down in a tax-paranoia induced frenzy...) If anyone has any suggestions for cute, modern-looking (I say that because I think a lot of 20's and 60's short haircuts still look modern) short haircuts, by all means let me know or point me to some links or photos. I tried to look up an Eton crop online, and there's not a single picture of it anywhere. If I can't think of anything, I'll just end up getting a haircut like Twiggy or Edie Sedgwick- in other words, a small boys' haircut. ^_^;
My criteria for haircuts for me are pretty basic- I have very fine, straight hair with no body (hence why it looks terrible long, despite what certain guys say), so it can't be a haircut that requires any kind of wave or curl. It has to look okay if I put product in it or if I don't put product in it, because most days, I haven't got time to mess with my hair. I refuse to get one of those new "fashion mullets", so don't even suggest it. (Mullets are mullets in my book, and they can stay on rednecks where they belong. ^_~) I also like to have some bangs and I like my hair longer in the front than the back (holdover from my youthful punk rock days when I always had bangs down past my chin... heh heh).
I'm also toying with the idea of trying a new haircolor, a dark auburn or burgundy, maybe a deep red or brown red. Maybe just blonde again. My stupid inner goth reaches for black dye on the shelf every time, but I know already dyed black hair is not my friend.
