Everything I need to get done before we go to the convention:

Code Red:
--write editorial for Radio Waves
--do production on Genus #88 (if you have stories for this, we need them ASAP!)
--turn in Genus #88 to the printers (no later than 5/15/08) (Giant THANK YOU's go out to poinko and shon_howell! You guys rock! Also: willworks rocks, since he did the production!)
--do production on Furrlough #183 (if you have stories for this, we need them ASAP!)
--turn in Furrlough #183 to the printers (also no later than 5/26/08) (Whew, read the original deadline wrong...)
--deliver pre-reg freebie comics to Dallas for the con (50 boxes) with matthigh (5/17/08)
--do production on Anubis: Dark Desire #4 and turn it in to the printer also (no later than 6/8/08)
--pay the printer for one book
--pay printer for shipping charges for the last three books

Code Orange:
--make enough money for apartment rent ($1065, keeee-rist)
--pay rent (5/28/08)
--deal with auction transactions
--ship as much mail order as possible
--add pre-sale page to online store for Anubis: Dark Desire #4

Code Yellow:
--pull and prep Radio con stock --about 80% complete
--prep, price and pack personal con stock (manga, comics, anime doodads, etc.) --about 50% complete
--print out submission guideline flyers
--pack con supplies (receipt books, tape, pens, sheets, bags, sharpies, cash box)
--get change for the cash box
--answer email
--ship trib copies to the artists who requested stuff for their con seasons

Code Green:
--get haircut
--do laundry
--choose and pack clothes & toiletries
--fix nails
--clean cat boxes
--go to Sam's Club for con supplies (Gatorade, water, etc.)
--clean out purse

Code Blue:
--don't get sick
--eat food
--sleep
--and how could I forget? pack more stuff for moving!

Already handled:
--Radio Comix ad for A-Kon program guide (hooray for willworks!)
--bios for A-Kon program guide
--badges/hotel situation/dealer's tables
--ship last batch of recent subscriptions out
--pay the printer for one book
--write and send off solicitations to Diamond for September 2008 books (Furrlough #186 and Milk #65)
--pay storage rent
--make pull list for A-Kon stock

13-14 days left to do everything, good lord.

Only about 21 days for all this to be handled, some of it more essential to be done sooner than others, naturally.

It's that time. I need to get a final headcount of who all is going to A-Kon that is a Radio artist. I don't have a final count on how many badges we will be able to request for our group, but I can at least do write-ups for our section of the program book. (Which I may already be too late for- but we will have a full page ad in the book where we plug all our artists who are showing up! If I know you're coming, we can at least advertise you! That is if they haven't sent this thing to the printers yet...)

TELL ME NOW IF YOU ARE A RADIO ARTIST ATTENDING A-KON THIS YEAR!

I already have several Radio staffers and helpers down for some of our assigned dealer/guest badges (willworks, me, suarez, matthigh, our intrepid jack-of-all--trades Kyle, onsokukoe, dacantero, poinko, possibly atomicpanda or thphilster if either of them decide to come, and of course, Pat), which brings our definite badge count up to nine. I don't know how many more over that I can reasonably request, because I don't want to be "that company that takes advantage and tries to get twenty-five free badges". Either way, let me know what your plans are so I can at least do some promotion for folks! (If I know you are going, I can also bring contributor copies to the con- otherwise, we won't have extras.)

Let me know ASAP! I have to get busy on that advertisement.
